Cauldron

SMALL POT OR VESSEL WITH MANY FUNCTIONS

The cauldron is a sacred pot or vessel that can have many functions. It is often used in making potions & infusions, small fires & burning incense, dried herbs or resins. It can also be used in divination (scrying). The Cauldron, along with the broomstick (Besom) are some of witchcrafts most recognizable symbols. The cauldron is a symbol of the feminine and of the water element.

Founder & Co-Creator

Hello, I'm Silver! I started this website because I wanted to help beginner witches find their path & to create a resource that might help dispel some of the perceived negativity that surrounds the term witchcraft.

Most Cauldrons are made of copper or cast iron, but with the rise in popularity of witchcraft, cauldrons are available in a variety of other materials, such as pewter, ceramic & silver.
