The New Age Movement is an eclectic group of cultural attitudes arising in late 20th century Western society that are adapted from those of a variety of ancient and modern cultures, that emphasize beliefs outside the mainstream.

Pendulum

A Pendulum is a weighted object that swings from a cord or chain used during dowsing divination.

A Pentacle is a symbol, a five pointed star within a circle.

Polytheism is the worship and belief in multiple deities, a pantheon of Gods & Goddesses

Prana

Prana is a Sanskrit word that refers to the energetic substance that flows from the environment into the body. It is considered the same as Ch’i & Ki.

Pranayama

Pranayama is the control of energy (Prana) through the breath. A method of breathing.

Prayer

A Prayer is a request or wish addressed to a God or Goddess through thought or speech.

Premonition

A Premonition is a prior warning received through psychic means.

Psychic

Psychic is a term that defines someone with extra sensory sensitivities & perceptions or an ability to foretell the future.

Psychokinesis

Psychokinesis is the ability to influence objects with the power of the mind

Psychometric

Psychometric is the ability to tune into the history of an object by touching it.

Qabalah is the system of Jewish theosophy & mysticism marked by belief in creation through emanation and a cipher method of interpreting Scripture

Rune Casting is a method of divination that involves picking or casting runes & interpreting their meanings.

Sigil

A Sigil is a sign, or symbol created for a specific purpose that can be charged with energy & intention.

Sorcery

Sorcery is the use of power gained from a deity, nature or the spirit world.

Spell

A Spell is a form of cosmic ordering or thought projection

Symbol

A Symbol is an arbitrary or conventional sign used in writing, relating to a particular meaning.

Séance

A Séance is a gathering of people for the purpose of communicating with spirits.

A Talisman is an object or charm charged with energy and/or intention (ei. Good luck or enhance fertility)

Tantras

Tantras are ancient Hindu or Buddhist scriptures written is Sanskrit & concern with ritual acts of the body, speech & the mind

Tarot

The Tarot is a set of 72 cards used for divination. It has two kinds of cards, the Major Arcana & Minor Arcana

Tasseomancy

Tasseomancy is a classic form of folk divination that requires the interpretation of tea leaves.

Telepathy

Telepathy is the ability to connect with another person through thought.

Transfiguration

Transfiguration refers to an alchemical process of change in form or appearance

Transmutation

Transmutation refers to an alchemical process of the conversion of one element or nuclide into another either naturally or artificially.

Wicca

Wicca is a nature based religion influenced by pre-Christian beliefs and practices of western Europe that affirms the existence of supernatural power & of both male and female deities.

Witchcraft

Witchcraft is a broad term that varies by culture. Traditionally the term witchcraft is used to describe the practice of magick or the use of supernatural powers.
